Overview
The Springfield Armory Hellion in 5.56 NATO is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle with an 18" barrel, placing the action behind the trigger group for a more compact overall package. The polymer stock houses the action, and a full-length Picatinny top rail and flip-up iron sights are standard. Capacity is 30+1 and controls are fully ambidextrous.
The Hellion accepts standard AR-15 pattern magazines and pistol grips. The polymer handguard features nine M-Lok slots for accessory mounting, and the reversible case ejection system accommodates either-hand operation.
