Overview
The Springfield Armory Hellion 5.56 NATO is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle featuring a 16" chrome moly vanadium barrel with Melonite finish. Its bullpup layout places the action behind the trigger, resulting in an overall length of 28.25"–29.75" with a 5-position adjustable stock and cheek riser. The gray polymer receiver and handguard weigh in at 8 lbs. This variant ships with a 10+1 capacity magazine.
The Hellion includes a Picatinny top rail, integrated flip-up iron sights with a 5-position aperture rear, a 4-prong flash hider, and a polymer M-LOK handguard with 9 attachment slots. The reversible case ejection system supports left- or right-side ejection.
