Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Emissary in .45 ACP is a hammer-fired semi-automatic pistol built on a forged carbon steel frame and slide, finished in black Cerakote. The 5" heavy-profile stainless steel bull barrel is paired with a Tri-Top cut slide featuring 40 LPI flat-top serrations. The slide is fitted with the Agency Optics System (AOS), with included plates compatible with RMR, Shield, Delta Point Pro, and Docter footprints; each plate incorporates an integral rear sight.
The pistol measures 8.6" overall and weighs 43 oz. VZ Grips Thin-Line G10 panels, a single-action trigger, and an ambidextrous thumb safety round out the feature set. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP.
