Overview
The Springfield Armory XD Service in 9mm Luger is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol with a 4" hammer-forged steel barrel in a Black Melonite finish. The polymer frame is black, and the forged slide carries a Black Melonite treatment. It measures 6.75" overall and weighs 28.0 oz with a 10+1 capacity. The XD Service uses a dual captive spring recoil system on a full-length guide rod.
