Overview
The Springfield Armory XD Tactical in 9mm Luger is a full-size, striker-fired semi-automatic handgun with a 5" hammer-forged steel barrel and a Melonite finish on both the slide and barrel. Built on a black polymer frame, the pistol measures 8" overall and weighs 29 oz, with a 10+1 capacity. The forged steel slide features long serrations and a Melonite finish for corrosion resistance.
Safety features include a grip safety, the Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) Action Trigger System, and a firing pin block. The slide is equipped with steel white dot 3-dot sights, a loaded chamber indicator, a striker status indicator, and a Picatinny rail for accessory mounting.
