Overview
The Springfield Armory XD Sub-Compact in 9mm Luger is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol with a 3" hammer-forged steel barrel finished in Melonite. The black polymer frame features a Picatinny rail and houses a grip safety alongside a firing pin block, while the USA (Ultra Safety Assurance) Action Trigger System provides the striker-fire mechanism. The pistol measures 6.9" overall and weighs 26 oz, with a 10+1 capacity.
The forged slide carries steel white dot front and rear sights and is finished in black Melonite. An ambidextrous magazine release, striker status indicator, and loaded chamber indicator are also standard.
