Overview
The Ruger Hawkeye African in .416 Ruger is a bolt-action rifle with a 23" cold hammer-forged, satin blued barrel and alloy steel receiver. It has a 3-round capacity and an overall length of 44.88" at 7.8 lbs. The non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor and fixed blade ejector provide positive extraction and ejection.
The American walnut stock features an ebony forend cap and wrap-around checkering on the grip and forend. A large white bead front sight and express-style windage-adjustable V-notch rear sight are installed, along with a removable radial-port muzzle brake on a threaded 5/8"-28 muzzle.
