Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Prodigy in 9mm Luger is a hammer-fired, single-action semi-automatic pistol that combines a forged steel 1911 frame with a double-stack polymer grip module for 17+1 capacity. The 5" barrel is integrally compensated to reduce muzzle rise. The AOS (Agency Optic System)-compatible slide accepts a range of popular optic footprints, and a Picatinny rail is fitted to the frame for light or laser mounting.
An ambidextrous thumb safety is standard. This Gear Pac configuration ships with a Viridian RFX11 green dot optic, four magazines, and a pistol bag.
